Sounds In Sync's owner Mark Franken was part of the Academy Award-winning sound team on Peter Jackson's epic "The Lord Of The Rings - The Two Towers", won a 2003 Inside Film (IF) Award for Best Sound for the Australian film, "Gettin' Square" and was an integral member of the team that won the 2004 Australian Film Institute (AFI) Award for Best Sound on the film "Somersault", the AFI Awards' Best Film that same year.

The winner of a swag of Australian-based industry and trade awards, Mark is also the creator and developer of all Sounds In Sync's innovative EDI software products: a range he specifically developed to assist and simplify the lives of sound editors and designers around the world.

With over 15 years' experience as a sound editor working in the film and TV industries in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, Mark has undertaken key roles on many projects, including supervising, sound effects, dialogue, music editing and mixing.

Sounds In Sync can also provide Pro Tools editing equipment to productions (including supplying an extensive sound Fx library and database) along with access to an international standard, high-speed internet connection.
